Our new satellite at Oldfield Primary school is an exciting opportunity to provide high quality education for 24 reception and year one children.  The provision opened officially on 5th September 2024 and has; three classrooms, a multi-use room, sensory room, and outdoor learning areas. Each classroom also has a calming sensory space and a hygiene area attached to the main room. Classes are also timetabled to use our specialist spa pool at the main Mandeville site.  

The Kings Representative Richard Kornicki Esq OBE DL joined us for our celebrations on the 25th September. He was very impressed with the facilities and enjoyed speaking with all the staff about their role in school. 

John Burgess, Chair of Governors for Mandeville School, has been involved in the satellite project from the start and has a very strong commitment to providing high quality provision and best practice at Mandeville.

James MacCormack, Headteacher Oldfield Primary School and his staff team have made us feel so welcome on their site. Relationships between Mandeville and Oldfield have gone from strength to strength and we are exploring more ways of working together.  

Tsu Pin Huang is our Assistant Head Teacher leading the satellite provision. He is committed to embedding the Mandeville values and expanding the reach of our school community. 

The project teams and staff teams have worked very hard to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment for the children ..... watch this space - we are excited about the way forward!
